One feature of flax fibre is its vibration dampening.
The Full EVA design is very forgiving of centring errors.
Description
- Soft EVA foam: moderate speed and high forgiveness of off-centre hits. - Glass Fibre: comfort and ball speed at a moderate intensity. - Flax fibre. - Full EVA technology: A single piece of EVA foam that increases the sweet spot and is very forgiving of errors for better ball control. - High Modulus Carbon: high-density carbon reinforcements to improve the racket's robustness.
Kuikma is a team of passionate padel players. Our research centre is based in Spain and is specialised in design and engineering. Its role is to identify users' needs and feed them back to our design centre in France. Following tests conducted with Horacio Alvarez Clementi, we then tested the racket's robustness at our design centre lab. These tests mean that we can thoroughly check the quality of our products.
Weight: 360 g.+/-7 g. Shape: Teardrop. Balance: Even (265 mm.) Thickness: 38 mm.Frame composition: 3 layers of fibreglass and 1 layer of flax fibre. Core composition: Soft EVA.
Skill level: Advanced Age: 16 and up. Best shot: Any. Technical skill: Medium. Stroke speed: Medium.Type of player: Intermediate, all-round players looking for a glass fibre racket (for greater comfort).
This innovation is exclusive to Kuikma, Decathlon's padel brand. The racket is made from a single piece of EVA foam covered with a composite fibre surface. This frameless construction extends the EVA foam surface and increases the size of the head's sweet spot. It is therefore highly forgiving of centring errors, giving you better ball control.
Dampens vibrations: The flax more effectively dampens vibrations generated during play, reducing the impact on the player's arm. Light weight: Flax fibre is known for its light weight, which helps make the padel racket easier to handle and play with.
HIGH MODULUS CARBON: High-density carbon reinforcements to improve the racket's robustness. FULL EVA CONCEPT: A single piece of EVA foam that increases the sweet spot and is very forgiving for better ball control.
