When you mount your basketball hoop to the wall, the height cannot be adjusted and the board is flush against the wall. A wall attachment is great for family fun because it adjusts to all player ages and levels. Certain models also have a spacing system to avoid playing too close to the wall. The B300 and SB700 basketball backboards are all compatible with the Tarmak F500 mural attachment (8496982) that offers 3 playing heights.
Our basketball design team works in an immersive sports our R&D sports centre located in the north of France. Its ongoing mission is to make basketball players more comfortable as they play. All our products are designed with materials for which we have verified the quality in terms of moisture management, etc. Each model is tested in the lab then in real-world conditions by basketball players for several weeks, as well as undergoing changes based on your feedback.
The hardware required to mount your basketball hoop set will depend on the wall where you plan to hang it. If unsure, ask your local hardware store for advice. If you want your hoop to be at regulation height, the rim should be at 3.05 m. We also recommend that you never hang from the rim to prevent weakening the mounting system.
