Description
Can stabilisers be added?Yes, if your child needs them. Our Btwin 16" stabilisers are compatible with this model. It's good to know that according to several studies, apprentice cyclists will more easily and quickly switch to a bicycle if they master balance in balance bike mode (without pedals).Ideally, children should learn to balance on a balance bike first, or a progressive 2-in-1 balance bike (like our 14" Discover 500 and 900).
To ensure optimal comfort, this bike has been specially designed to suit children:the width of the handlebars and the diameter of the grips are designed for their little hands. The foam saddle provides a comfortable seat with adjustable height.
Length: 118 cm/Width: 48 cm/Height: 68.5 cm If ordering online:the bike comes with the front wheel removed, the brake to be adjusted (see video), and the handlebars to be set straight and tightened.6 Allen key to tighten the handlebar and saddle to 26 n/M +/ -1 14 spanner to tighten the wheels and pedals (to be assembled) to 26 n/M+/- 4 Box dimensions:1,200 cm/200cm/550cm Schrader valve 5/16" front hub axle ETRO: 38-305 Frame and handlebar with lifetime warranty Spare parts availability:10 YEARS
More accessible brakes and a more comfortable grip are the main benefits of our Stop Easy system. For more natural movement, the brake lever is pressed parallel to the handlebars. Whilst being progressive, this innovative brake lever also provides 30% more braking power compared to a conventional brake lever. An innovation from our B'Twin team, loved by both parents and children.
To learn how to ride a bike easily, we advise against bikes that are too big.At Decathlon, we take care to recommend the right sizes to help you choose the right bike.Recommendation: Consider hiring a bike!If your child is still a little bit short for the bike you had in mind, but they're eager to learn, we recommend hiring a smaller bike until they grow.
Look after your child's bike so that it's always ready for a new adventure! To ensure full maintenance, we recommend that you follow these 3 steps: 01 Degrease your drive train 02 Clean your bike 03 Lubricate your chain 3 steps that require 3 products which can be found in our bike cleaning kit (8751194), that will become your best friend!"
